The reserve is the most lily - dense place in Bulgaria. The lily is a flower with a sweet and strong scent. It provokes the interest and admiration of tourists and nature - lovers. The natives call the flower "sand lily" or "sand fairy". Due to its rare beauty, some call it The Sand Queen or just "dune flower". Sand lily flowers in July and August - its snow - white blossoms are very rare and provoke justified admiration.
