The resort

Saint Thomas Residences Complex comprises a residential and a hotel part with an entertainment area and a shopping zone. The residential part consists of four – floor buildings with two or three apartments on each floor. The project provides for the construction of a spacious lobby – bar, a luxurious spa-centre and a modern fitness centre. The complex offers various entertainment features and resting facilities, three swimming pools (a relaxing one, an Olympic one and a wading pool) as well as two infinity pools.

The owners and all the guests of Saint Thomas Residences Complex have several open-air bars, clubs and restaurants at their disposal. For their convenience, the shopping zone includes a bank office, a pharmacy, a sports shop, a convenience store, a souvenir shop as well as a photo studio, a rent-a-car office and offices of companies offering tourist and entertainment services. “Saint Thomas Residences” offers multifunctional sports facilities to the sports fans. The limited access of vehicles to the inner part of the complex guarantees the visitors full relaxation and tranquillity. Saint Thomas Residences Complex has become a multi-award winning vacation village.  The luxurious complex has received the award Building of the Year 2008. “Building of the year” contest is under the patronage of the Bulgarian Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works     with the support of architecture and engineering industry organizations.  The Bulgarian Hotel and Restaurant Association has also awarded Saint Thomas Residences the “Most Effective Investment in Tourism”. In December 2008 the Balkan Alliance of Hotel Associations honoured the development with huge recognition: Saint Thomas Residences has become “Vacation Complex Number 1” on the Balkans.

BEACHES

Beach  "Arkutino",  which is a part of  the  resort  is  recognized  as  the
most  romantic  beach in  Bulgaria.  The  beach  can be reached  with  a
shuttle that goes from the hotel every 15 minutes. The visitors can enjoy
different  kinds  of  water  sports  and  activities  on  the  beach.  Beach
umbrellas and lounges are available in special zones of the beach.
Beach "Saint Thomas"is located at the left side of the holiday village ro-
ad and is one of the few wild beaches left on the Bulgarian coast. There
is a small restaurant, beach umbrellas and lounges in the beach area.

The access of vehicles is forbidden in the resort. Instead the visitors are using electric cars.
The resort has its own wastewater treatment plant.

RESTAURANTS AND BARS

Lobby Bar
The bar has approximately 50 seats and offers a wide variety of drinks, cocktails, deserts and pastries.

Restaurant Karina
The restaurant is located in Hotel "Karina" and has two halls with 45 and 120 seats. There is an open terrace with an ocean view which has 50 seats. The restaurant atmosphere is luxurious and cozy and customers can enjoy both bulgarian and international cuisine.

Beer House Viking
A two floor building, located next to the pool area. One of the two floors is open and has 80 seats. The menu consist of fast dishes, grill dish, pizza and different fish dishes.

Beach bar Arkutino
The bar is located on beach Arkutino and offers mainly fast dishes, grilled dishes, salads, pizza and a wide variety of cocktails. At night there is a DJ in the bar.

The area

The area of Arcoutino and the Cape of Humata are situated on an extremely varied and picturesque terrain. The area borders on a beach strip, cliffs, small cosy beaches among the cliffs, a forested hill and fresh - water lakes with water lilies. The unique conditions favouring rest and relaxation combined with the richly varied landscape and the surroundings provide an opportunity for a multifunctional use of the complex throughout the year.

Location and transport links

The area of Arcoutino is located 50 km south of Bourgas, 12 km south of the Old Town of Sozopol and 15 km north of the seaside resort Primorsko. The area represents one of the few virgin spots left on the Black Sea Coast. The Cape of Humata is situated near the Alepu Lagoon, the fresh-water Lake Arcoutino, the Saint Thomas Island, the mouth of the Ropotamo River and the Andrea Bair Hill.
